plasma-mediacenter-dev software package provides multimedia center for KDE desktop - development files, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install plasma-mediacenter-dev
plasma-mediacenter-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the plasma-mediacenter-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep plasma-mediacenter-dev *
You will get with plasma-mediacenter-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
